it's true. but I always have to say I had some much worse dubbings ( Bones / Moonlight) so I'm quite happy and am completely used to the German voices by now. :smile:

No I am so used to their real voices by now… But I am going to watch it anyway ´cause I forced my parents to watch it the first time… I trying to turn them into fans…

I can't get used to the german voices, stana's is the same as lynette's from desperate housewives this is too distracting 
I prefer watching it in english.
And I'm totally gonna buy the dvd when it comes out

They are still airing season 2 here. Switzerland is finished with it for some weeks. Kabel 1 is really slow.
Does anyone know if they already bought season 3? and when they will begin to show it?

I'm amazed at the international popularity of the show. The show deals a lot with American culture and I was wondering if the jokes and comments are understood by those across the pond. Can anyone chime in?

Can you give an example?
When i watch the episodes in english i don´t understand every word at the first viewing but i get an overview what the episode is about. I can watch the episode another time or just push the review button to hear it another time on most occasions i get it on the second or third try.
The german translation is not word for word, they have to look what fit in the lip movements. But it got much better in the years and they try hard to translate what is really said.
