I've just found out today that since November 9th "Castle" will be aired by Universal Channel in Poland!  Bounce2 It's scheduled for Mondays, 9 PM.

Yay indeed :) Although it's kind of irony that it's Universal Channel – their owner is NBC and "Castle" kicks Jay Leno's ass regularly on Monday nights in USA… Laugh

I was hoping that it's gonna be AXN channel to pick up "Castle" in Poland. Universal Channel is relatively new channel, although they're present in major digital platforms and cable networks, and has smaller audience. Fingers crossed that "Castle" is going to be advertised well in TV weekly magazines.

After finishing airing 2nd season on June 26th (Monday), Universal Channel started airing "Castle" from the beginning on Thursday's evening at 9 PM and 10 PM promoting it like a new show to the new audience, with Sunday's afternoon repeats.

TVP2, public TV channel, the second biggest in Poland, will be airing all 34 episodes of season 1 and 2, every Sunday at 10:05 starting October 17th. The official press release was issued by TVP2 yesterday.

Episode 11 of season 3 should be available early next week on CYFRA+ VOD at lower price, 3 PLN per episode (appx. 1 USD), so far it was 5 PLN per episode (appx. 1.66 USD), but Cyfra+ (satellite digital TV provider) is offering now lower prices as Christmas/New Year promotion for their subscribers.

Universal Channel will start air season 3 at the end of February, "Castle" returns on Monday, February 28th, 9 PM.

Yes, they are. There is Polish voice-over on Universal Channel, which means that one person – a man – is reading all dialogues, while you can hear the original, English language dialogues in the background. Or, if you're a subscriber to a digital platform, you can choose between Polish and original English language, but unfortunately no Polish subtitles in this case. 

We also have season 4 at the moment as VOD, and luckily it's the digital platform Cyfra+ of which I'm a subscriber, which has Castle in their VOD offer, 3 PLN (apx. 1 USD) per episode. 

And in this case, we have a choice between Polish voice-over and subtitles. Of course, I'm watching with subtiles Smile I'm waiting now for 4x06 to appear in my VOD library, so I can order it and watch.

thank you Kalliope! And you know what – I just remember that my grandparents received a Polish tv station on their satellite dish and they had cartoons on it with a voice over. I found that so fascinating that I sometimes watched that channel (plus I like the sound of your language). But it was strange, one guy speaking for every person or animal.

Laugh Yeah, it's strange for the foreigners, but when you watch it this way your whole life, you are used to it. Of course, I'm avoiding bad voice-overs, fortunately the guy who's reading Castle episodes on Universal, is quite good Smile

Lectors kill many small jokes and one liners and that's why I always watch Castle with original sound track without Polish lector.

I wish Disney would finally stop acting like a*****s and would allow CD Projekt to release Castle Season 1,2 and 3 on DVD.
