I would like to ask the help of the community of Castle fans. Castle is on air in Hungary since 20th July with the first season (ratings are quite good taking the summer), in a dubbed (voice acted) version, just like all the programs on the countrywide channels. As I loved the show from the DVD with the original voices, it is somewhat strange now, but it brought up a question:

How does Castle sound in other countries? I know that there are countries where it is aired in English, but I became curious how they speak in German or Italian? I picked a short scene (the "monkey pee" at the beginning of SE01x04) and I would be very glad if anybody who has this recorded in any other language than English could also post it, I think it will be fun.

 I choose that part not only because both Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic are really playing with their voices, but it is shorter than 1 min and as far as I know that's the limit if you want to show an excerpt from a motion picture. So if anybody makes a sample, please take care of the lenght of the video.

Beckett's Hungarian clone is just downright odd for me – Castle's voice though, sounds quite… believable (with the exception of the YES! at the end)…

I liked the French version. Both voice actors were good, but I liked Beckett's better.

Can you guys post scenes for the other cast members as well? It's pretty interesting.

Unfortunately I can only submit Hungarian versions up till episode 6 of Season 1, that's what were aired (and Ep5 are only on a settop DVR what I can not hack to the computer :-(( ). Castle's French voice is excellent and the others are also very good. Maybe Martha is a less "theatrical" than in English,

heidigjr: Yes, Beckett's Hungarian voice is far from Stana's quality, in most scenes simply lacks – I can't say otherwise – the acting talent. Beside her manner is quite different. In Beckett's annoyance there is always a determination, willpower, strength, name it as you like. That lacks from the Hungarian actress's voice, she sounds to be simply in a tantrum – a great pity!

I really like Martha's French voice. It's a voice that is both mature, classy, and at the same time funny and original.
I'm French, and it's a voice I've heard in a lot of other dubbings of shows and movies. I don't know whose voice it is, but it's a pretty famous voice. And I think it fits Martha well, and it's actually quite close to Susan's voice.
I don't like Beckett's voice in French though. Not deep enough, and not close enough to Stana's voice.
