Hooray! Finally, March 11th there will be 'new' Castle episodes in the Netherlands. (Starting with 2x03, luckily I can watch the 'real' new episodes online)

Boohoo after only 1 new episode they pulled the plug on Castle, the ratings were too low.

It definitely is, luckily I'm able to download the episodes otherwise I had to wait for the episodes on DVD.

This sucks. Here in Poland the channel which is airing "Castle" is still a niche channel (Universal Channel owned by NBC), their schedule is not even printed in every TV weekly magazines, fortunately it's printed in the biggest one, which I'm buying every week, but they're quite happy with the numbers "Castle" is receiving, although they're really tiny, but increasing Smile – UC's people were nice enough to answer my e-mail with the question about the ratings for "Castle" episodes recently, so I know the exact numbers.

Can you tell me what the latest ratings are? Well here 'The Double Down' was watched by about 676000 people and they thought that was too low so they stopped, couldn't they just wait a couple of weeks to find out how the ratings were going? Instead of reacting after only 1 episode. Oh well, let's hope they will change their minds.

Much, much, much lower than in The Netherlands. As a matter of fact, they're just around 20 000 viewers  and yet Universal Channel is quite happy with it. "Castle" is fourth the most popular show on Universal Channel at the moment. But as I said, UC is still a niche channel, available in cable only and on digital platforms.

That's definitely low, if the viewers were that low here I would understand that they would pull the plug. They show(ed) Castle on a commercial channel so they want to attract as many viewers as they can. But it just sucks that we can't watch Castle on TV anymore, I was totally looking forward to seeing 'Fool Me Once' on a big screen, but alas that's not going to happen anytime soon.

Congratulations to The Netherlands. In Spain started to watch the serie three weeks ago. I hope you do not cancel it because it has many spectators. I love the
serie and I would like to continue emitting.

Yeah me too, watching Castle live on TV would be totally great. I just download the new episodes now or watch them online, but it would be nice to actually be able to watch them on TV :(

Finally some good news, Castle will be back on TV tomorrow evening, starting where they left off in March with 'Fool Me Once'. I'm hoping they will show the rest of season 2 without any interruptions.
