Can anyone tell me the song and artist playing at the end of episode 2? Lyrics are "Rest your head right here. Come on in. The door is always open…for you…my friend. I'll always be here for you."

I am currently driving myself crazy looking for the name of the song. It sounds like a singer by the name of Matt Nathanson but I am not 100% sure. I will post the name and artist if I find it. Can you please do the same? Thanks bunches!

Gah.
Hate my touchpad. I made a mess of this post and this is my 10th edit…
The closest I could find on Google was Come Rest Your Head by Tonic, but that doesn't match the lyric you quoted. (Sorry, don't remember the song particularly..)
I can probably find out what it is tonight or tomorrow if you haven't figured it out by then.

i went back and played the scene again and the lyrics are
"i can see it in your eyes..speaking to me..rest your head right here..to feel free..well come on in..the door is always open ..for your my friend .. i'll always be here so come on in"
but i cant seem to find the song anywhere….the voice sounds very familiar..but i cant place it.

Same here. Still looking though. I even emailed ABC- they of course have not answered yet. I thought you had to credit artist when you use their music. Very frustrating!

No, sorry. Just got the artist and title. (Didn't realize it was still unfindable with that info!) Might be worth asking on Tommy Fields's website. There's a contact form there and an email address for him. I noticed too that he has a new album coming out soon–while the song is not listed with the preview tracks, I'm wondering if it came from that.

Yep! I also download a couple of his other songs as I am huge fan of indie music/singer/songwriters! I wish it was longer but I didn't write it! Love the music and the guy has a really nice voice.

Thanks so much for telling me about the Fields website.  Just bought the song. Completes the playlist I've put together of all the songs from the 1st season :-) The only one missing was Fields' "Come on In." Can't wait for Season 2.
