OfflineI am really not thrilled with TV Guide's general lack of acknowledgement of Castle. One article on Nathan, but hardly ever mentioned otherwise. But they mention a lot of the other "crap" that is not as popular. Maybe they are starting to wake up….we need to bug them.
Anyone see Serenity of SyFy last night?

Yes, I noticed that, but they are starting so I can't rag on them. None of my (free) local newspapers even mention it.
I watched part of Serenity (I have it on DVD). However it is not one of my favorites. I like the series much better.

OfflineOn TvGuide.com they have Castle listed on the "Hot List" to watch for tonight (I believe that may be the first time I've seen this). It also had a little blurb about tonight's episode. Here is what it said:

"Castle and Beckett may have gotten past the rough patch in their working relationship, but it's Alexis who's making strides as Beckett's friend."
I think they listed them on the "Hot List" for the Halloween episode too.

Offline10 million seems "low" for what ABC wants, but I agree, it isn't as though we're looking at 5 million. I think the ratings are pretty solid!

OfflineNot sure what ABC wants…but Castle is pulling in more viewers (in millions) than their beloved Flashforward. Although Castle's demo could be better, they have a huge following for basically a first year (since there was only 10 episodes earlier this year) tv series. I went back and looked at the millions that NCIS brought in the first year they were on air. They brought in around the same Castle is now and now they pull in 17 million a week. CBS gave it time to grow into something huge…Hopefully ABC will do that with Castle.

OfflineI don't think it's the total viewers that's a problem. It's the beloved demo group that they are concerned about. Castle ranks on the lower end of acceptable. However I read a very promising article on DVR viewing…

Castle and Nathan were mentioned in the "Inbox" section of the newest TV Guide magazine, page 4. A fan wrote in saying how much she enjoyed the Firefly reference in the Halloween episode.
I thought that the Nathan and Firefly fans here would enjoy the mention!
Hi,
Can any one of you tell me the issue date on the TV Guide? Some one said the "40th Anniversary of Sesame Street", and is there a date?
Thanks.
