I tape the show every Thursday night but wasn't able to watch it til last night. Otherwise I would have posted this sooner. For those not familiar with the show it's about Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, MD. The owner/chef is a guy named Duff and they make out of this world cakes. Anyway, this week one of them was a guy buying a cake for his wife who is a big fan of Firefly. He had them make a cake of the spaceship from the show. Is it called Serenity? I wish I could find a pic from the website to post here because it was amazing.
Not real newsworthy but thought you Firefly fans might get a kick out of it.

Cool! I like to watch that show on occation. I'll check it out.

Oh, I had heard about this before! Alas, I do not have cable and don't get to watch. Would've loved to see a Serenity cake.

Yikes, I'm so sorry for getting the details wrong. My apologies.
Thanks so much for sharing the pics because I was sooo impressed with that cake. And now others will get to see the finished product too. Very cool.

That cake is awesome, Jenn!
My sister's friend actually works there, she's in one of your pictures! She LOVES her job. And she gets to eat cake all the time and go to cool places.

Which one is your sister's friend? Everyone there was so friendly and fantastic!! And it was an awesome experience! And the cake was soooo good. :-)

Jenn – My sister's friend is Ericka, she's one of the cake decorators. She's the one who kind of looks like Mary Alice…she's super nice, and this is pretty much her dream job, so I think she'll be there for a while. Sometimes you can see her on the show. She made an awesome Everything Bagel cake for my brother-in-law's birthday, which looked amazing!
