This is so exciting!  It will be over an hour of just a one on one chat between two awesomely talented and funny actors.  I watched a chat with Neil Patrick Harris, and he mentioned how Nathan was one of the best people you could ever have at a dinner party or a show like Kevin's.   Then, they played games and answered tweets from fans.  

I'm telling all of you Nathan fans, this is going to be incredible.  NPH said so, and so do I. 

I'm missing it so hopefully someone can give a recap.

There's some buzz on the TWoP board on a spoiler that Nathan let loose with. I have to say I'm very excited with all the possibilites.

I think it should be available on Itunes (for free!) or on the Kevin Pollak Chat Show webpage in the archive section, so you can watch it when you have a chance! It was really entertaining and funny.

I agree. It was Nathan at his absolute best. Humble, funny and honest. Although it seems his honesty about Firefly being his best work yet and choosing Inara over Beckett has not gone down well with a section of the Castle faithful. He is getting a lot of flak from disappointed Castle/Stana fans on Twitter right now.

Not surprised by his comments at all. His opinion and all that but disappointing on my end. Oh well.

Fans are certainly letting their voices be heard. You can't go to twitter, tumblr, and other message boards without people talking about it. I wonder how long it takes before it ends up in some articles?

He chose the character of Inara over the character of Beckett. No big deal.  Inara was beautiful and trained in the ways to give pleasure to another.  Beckett has threatened to shoot him. Who wouldn't choose Inara?!

I haven't heard the interview, but I don't care that he would choose Inara instead of Beckett – I agree that his one and only love is Firefly, basicly all of his fame and fans rooted there. Knowing his opinion about the advantages of being failed all the time and keeping the UST as long as possible it was also not a surprise, Mal Reynolds behaviour is much closer to his image of the ideal hero than Castle's.

At the same time I'm a bit disappointed if he really didn't mentioned Castle more. I don't know how the questions were asked, so I don't want to judge him without hearing, but no matter how important FF was for him, Castle is the present and I think he gained much bigger audience and international respect through this than he has ever got with all of his previous works. I admit, these viewers maybe not so devoted fans as the browncoats, but I bet that even the hardcore fan base of Castle is as large now as the FF has.

Well the entire chat was a bit weird. It was insightful yes, esp for people like me who know little about Nathan's past, his likes and dislikes. But the focus on firefly and the lack of mention of Castle surprised me as well. The chat lasted around 2 hours and Castle was mentioned 3-4 times hardly and every time it was brief.

Add to this him saying how Firefly has been his best work ever, choosing Inara over Beckett, sidestepping the topic of the caskett kiss and answering how he thought Felicia day was a good kisser (Although that question was kinda forced on him). I can understand how the Castle faithful would have felt a bit betrayed by this. Some of the reactions have been way over the top, but being an ardent Castle fan, I too can't help but feel a little disappointed at the way the entire chat was conducted.

This was a great opportunity given the length and the open format of the chat to address some of the Castle fans' opinions, questions and talk about the show and fellow co-stars. But for some reason the show host decided to leave any discussions about Castle. And now Nathan has to feel the wrath of the fans.

Oh well, the Letterman interview is in 4 days. So, I guess their is a great opportunity to rectify things to a certain extent. And judging by the fans' reactions today, ABC and Nathan will have to focus on plugging Castle then.
