OfflineIt is more then irrating regarding ALL the rumours I keep hearing. I stopped reading certain Nathan Fillion Fansites because they just seem to love to feed the rumour machine (sorry, just not into the big internet BS stuff)
I also read that Nathan Fillion was going to be Ant-man in the Marvel Avengers moive. I am so glad you all are going to give us the real facts soon. I can see him as antman but just don't see how he can work that plus work on Castle in LA. Even Zachary Levi had to drop out of Thor because of Chucks fliming schedule~ and he had a small part!
Can't wait for all the details next weekend!

He's been mentioned as being cast as Ant-Man with Eva Longoria as The Wasp. But it gets better. Now there's another rumor that puts him as… Sit down first, folks… SUPERMAN! I know. It's crazy.
Wow. Really? So someone is planning another Superman movie? After the last one bombed?

OfflineIt's TV, folks! Castle tries to be more cinematical but what TV means is medium shots. Go back and check. A lot of the precinct scenes can be shot separatedly, with over the shoulder shots. Meaning, they could conceivably line up all his shots in both home and precinct in one day. Then leave him free at least one and a half day to do the Avengers. Or they could schedule him for Saturday as well. Besides, he would not be the main character, but a stellar supporting role, with changes of expanding in the second Avengers movie. Makes sense. If and if they shoot before May. And nobody knows the startdate yet. Let's say, Christmas. There would be two weeks where he'd be free, more than enough, given that it would be an ensemble movie. And I think if Whedon calls, I think they will all find a way to work it out. It would benefit everybody, the show included.

As much as I hate to say it, he's too old to be Superman. He could be Ant-Man, but I don't see Eva Longoria as the Wasp! I mean…PLEASE! Why even mention her? I think Stana would make a better Wasp then Eva. Sheesh!

OfflineYou're kidding, right? Eva Longoria is muy caliente. And having Stana as Wasp risks that they would bring the Castle dynamic in, and boy, why would you pay money to see what you can have for free? And besides, the way the show is written, it makes it easier for him to fade in the background than for her. His character doesn't have to be in every procedural scene. She almost has to, I'm afraid. And as far as Superman, I agree it would be skewing a bit less youthful than what they've been done in the past. But the films in the past have BOMBED, haven't they? Could it be because Supes in the hand of a bland good-looking guy is a bit boring? Sure, I wouldn't have thought of Fillion as Superman in a million years. But the rumor was briefly up there, so I surrender to the evidence. Having said that, it appears both rumors have died a bit. A sign that this was an internet storm in a teacup or what?

Yes~ DC is serious about the Superman reboot. Pretty much everything is getting a reboot over the next year & being presented in 3D.
As long as they don't mess up the Tin Tin movie…..I will be okay!
Even The Smurfs is getting redone. Good grief!

OfflineActually, they do look cute in the trailer, but they don't come up to the Minions of Despicable Me in my book. I just can't believe that Hollywood is so short of ideas for what films to make, that they're resorting to making movies out of 80s morning cartoons. I'm waiting for The Snorks movie to come out next. But since GI Joe, Garfield, and The A Team have all received this treatment, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
