Interesting…the interview is dated last October and he mentions Monet Mazur…I wonder if they had planned to bring her back earlier in season 2 or for a longer arc?

Also, he mentions taxedermied bugs on his desk and walls…never noticed those…I'll have to look.

Yes, I've seen the bugs framed on the walls in the background of his den/office. For someone like me who is a little bugged out with bugs… it's creepy

I knew about the ones on the walls. There's a firefly to the left of his desk. I though it was a subtle shout out to the Series-but the Admin aid no. Still, quite a coincidence…..

Thanks for sharing gratie. I didn't know Nathan was such a screenwriter and that he wrote a pilot for ABC. His comment about Monet Mazur is interesting. Maybe they were planning on bringing her back earlier in the season and she wasn't available, so her appearance got pushed back to the finale. That might explain some people's feeling that her coming was so random.

And Nathan's comments about Castle being selfish were interesting too. Maybe that's the big thing he learned at the end of the season – that he can't keep putting himself first. If he wants to make Beckett happy, he has to let go of what he wants (to be with her) and let her be with Demming. Little does he know about her conversations with Esposito and Capt. Montgomery's brief comments to her. It'll be interesting to see if he continues along this line next season or not. Just some thoughts.
