Nick Castle [Nathan Fillion], a rock star of the literary world, is suffering from a case of writers block after killing off the main character in his novels and is struggling to come up with a replacement.

His experience with Joss Whedon should help form the basis. :P (Except… JW doesn't see himself as a world-renowned geologist.)

The gamut determines the acceptible range of conditions. It's Genius' Awesome Sauce in an 8oz. glass bottle with a cork stopper.

Haha, yes, perhaps his something of Joss will have rubbed off on Nathan and help him play the character.  I wonder too if his author friend PJ Haarsma will be offering any tips.

Oh yes – I can't wait! This is really great news – 2009 is going to be a good year for TV, I think. Has anyone heard anything recent about the Repo Brothers?

Oh – and hello everyone <img class=" />

I'd head that ABC pisked up Repo Brothers too. I'd love t hear more about that project. Doesn't seem right that someone as good looking as Nathan is also a writer…

hello, are you saying writers can't be good looking???? or that it seems impossible that one man should be so talented? I think you mean the latter.  I'm just wondering how he'll find time to write now he's in a tv show.

As a writer I would never say that. But you're right I was saying that the man is incredibly talented – not to mention a pure joy to watch. And I wonder … where does he get the time….Just glad he's back on TV,

Did anyone notice that, on this site's promo pix, Nathan is wearing a…um…browncoat?

Just thought I'd point that out.

I'm all set.  Lost. Dollhouse. and Castle.  This is a good year!  It'll be great to see Nathan back on screen again.  Not that I'm tired of any of his old material.  Just always happy to see new stuff.  Thanks ABC!

xx

I am thrilled to finally see Nathan Fillion on a primetime television show.  He has one of the best senses of comedic timing in Hollywood and he deserves a show that can reach a large audience.  Congrats to you Nathan!  We love you at my house!

I'm with you 'L.'  I am happy to see him in new stuff.

Desperate Housewives was kind of a bummer in that Adam didn't do a whole lot on the show.  Then again, Dana Delany isn't on as much this year.

Anyway, I am ready for Castle.  I need some show with some fun & silliness.  I can't watch shows like BSG & Dollhouse all the time!

On a personal note-  I believe folks who were negative on Drive & the upcoming Castle are fans who have a hard time seeing Nathan outside of Sci-fi.  Again, JMHO or I've been around too many hard core Browncoats in the past.

Desperate Housewives did turn out a bit disappointing (although I liked the Mayfairs' mystery, and Adam was great in the finale), at least with Castle we know Nathan will be in each episode for more than two or three minutes. Cool
