I sent out my "re-do" autograph request today at the post office.

I hope he gets it before he has to go on hiatus for the summer.

…It's only been 41 days. hehe

Couldn´t believe it when I found my SASE in the mailbox when I came home from work. Soon as I got into the door I opened it, it contained the 2 pictures I sent both signed by Nathan.

I still can´t get the grin of my face

That's awesome! He's next on my list. I sent Stana a letter and a request for an autographed picture in late July/early August. I left to be with my mother on 10/6 as she was in the hospital with pneumonia. After a horrible week of really difficult decision making we removed the ventilator and she passed away on 10/12 at the age of 57. It was the worst two weeks of my life and when I returned home on 10/17 my photo from Stana was in my huge pile of mail waiting for me.

It's a gorgeous 8x10 photo of her with a personalized note saying, "Dear Ali! Cheers to the independent, strong, sexy & smart ladies… yourself included! Big hug, Stana" My letter was mostly about the importance of her character to young women so I know she read it based on what I said and she wrote on the picture.

I cried reading it realizing I'm a little more similar to Beckett than I was a month ago. I'm only 27 which is way too young to lose your mother and that little photo from someone I've never met restored my faith in human compassion and the care for others.

I have since wrote Stana another letter telling her about the timing of her photo's  arrival and how it brightened a very dark day. I hope she reads it and knows how many lives she and other actors touch each day, especially when they take time out of their very busy lives to write one little fan back. Fan for life right here
