I am furious that the producer wrote you out of the series. You are a great actor who brought a lot to this show. Castle will not be the same without you. Your performance in the last episode was, in my opinion, Emmy worthy. I really hope that a more astute producer picks you for another series. One thing is for sure, as much as I've loved this show, I have such strong feelings about your removal that I will not be watching Castle again. Good luck to you in your future endeavors.

Aw it's too bad you feel that way. I loved the Captain and I think Ruben is fantastic so I was sad to see him go. But he was a given a spectacular exit. And the writers have so many intriguing opportunities to further the rest of the show, his death was a catalyst to allow the show's story to continue. I don't think the Captain is truly gone in a metaphorical sense because I think his influence will be felt for a long time to come. I really hope you reconsider and give the show another chance. Sad that The captain is gone too but thought he was given a wonderful exit. I think his presense will live on and be felt in the precinct forever.chance. I agree with I is who I is that now the writers have so many great directions to be able to take the show in & I can't wait to see were season 4 is headed. I know you loved the captain as did all of us but that's no reason to quit watching & hope that you will give the show another chance at least do it for all  the other great cast members who are still there. Stana and Nathan are reason enough for me and I can't forget about Tamala and John

I'm sorry you feel so strongly about the Captain's leaving, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.  I look at this way: Capt. Montgomery was a strong supporter of Beckett and her mentor.  Without him there, it gives Castle and Beckett even greater challenges to overcome, meaning they will build an even more solid relationship.  I will miss him greatly too, but I'm looking forward to seeing how his absence impacts everyone else on the show.

I'm very upset that you were wrote out also… as are all my friends who watch Castle. You are an extremely talented actor. I've always looked forward to your part in the story and enjoyed watching and learning more about you. The finale showed us even more into your character and we would love to continue knowing you better. Castle will not be the same without Captain Montgomery and I wish that they would realize that and bring you back next season. Whatever they choose to do I will follow in all your endeavors and watch anything that you are in. You are much loved!
