I've been a huge fan of the show from the beginning and a long time lurker on these boards but just had to post and let you all know how lovely Seamus really is (not that you don't know this already!)
A few weeks ago I read on here that Seamus had a 'normal' Facebook account rather than a fan one and had accepted lots of friend requests from fans so of course I had to add him just to see! I was estatic and over the moon when I got the notification that said 'Seamus Dever has a accepted your friend request'!!!!!! Told my friend Gill, who I'd got hooked on Castle about 12 months ago and she added him too, we were Seamus' friends ;o)
Anyway, yesterday I went into hospital for a operation so without me knowing Gill messaged him through Facebook saying that I was big fan of his and of the show and it would make my day if he could send me a quick message… I was feeling pretty awful after the op but by dinner time last night I was feeling much better, grabbed my iPad to check my email to find an email that says 'Seamus Dever has commented on your status'!!!!!!! Eeeeeekkkkk!
I gasped out loud (my husband thought I was in more pain!) couldn't believe it!?!
He said 'Best of luck today. Get well soon please.' – how nice is that!?!
The fact that he'd taken the time to read Gill's message then go to my page and write a message just says so much about what a lovely, kind person he really is – and I wanted you all to know! X

That's awesome! They all seem so real and down to earth… you do NOT get that with all famous people that's for sure! Very cool for you! Big question though… what did you say back??

You're totally right, very few famous people respond to their fans like Seamus (and the rest of the cast!) it just makes me love them and the show even more!
And thanks all for the get well soons – I'm feeling much better today. These boards, Castle eps and Heat Rises are keeping me entertained!
