Btw, how do you make your wording "red" and big like that? What program do you use for the text?

Interesting that the two parter seems to be using some of the Heat Wave situations. In the book Rok follows Nikki Heat home to make sure she is ok she is carrying her painting home. In promo Castle appears to be following Kate home to check on her, that is who I think is at the door when she opens it and has her gun. Another clip Castle is checking in on Kate and looks to have been warned only seconds about the boom in Kate's apt.  He is on the phone with her and her him just seconds before the blast, this could be out of order and from an earlier scene but I  think it is before the blast when the serial killer calls him and Castle races to her apt then boom.Remember in the book Nikki is taking a shower and has no clothes on  when the guy enters her apt to kill her off, switch to Kate taking a shower so promo has it setup to look like the serial killer is reenacting out scenes from Heat Wave in a similar way.

 I am finding that the sneak peeks that are released for episodes are spoiling them for me somewhat. I don't seem to have the will power to not watch them but then it is like going to the movies with somone who has seen it and says to you, watch out such and such is going to happen, or watch this, or they just tell you the ending or the best parts of a movie. That is a pet peeve of mine when people have seen a movie and they tell you what happens before you see it, kind of takes away the effects of first time viewing. It's my own fault I want them but I don't!

 I can stay away from the web sites and blogs that discuss the spoilers and I can stay away from Twitter before a new episode airs but hard for me to not want to look at the sneak peek clips. I need more will power. This promo is most likely cliped together and edited so out of content it won't spoil just makes me long for two weeks of my life to past by, wish away time for a TV show I feel silly or adicted one or the other or maybe both.

I have had computer problems with installing windows 7 for the past month or so but now it seems to be ok. Anyone else install windows and have problems with freezing up when entering web sites by chance?

For once, I'm considering going spoiler free, but it's very, very hard, I don't know if I'll tough it out, lol.  I've seen the spoiler pics already, but do I want to watch the vids or enjoy the "event" as it unfolds?

It kills me every week, but I have to say, I'm very happy  when I watch an episode spoiler free, it really makes the viewing better.  2.15 did it for me, way too many sneaks of the best parts.  The pics don't bother me much, but seeing the sneaks for some reason is different, I just have to avoid them…..It is really hard though.  But for me, it makes a better viewing experience.  I just avoid TV.com entirely too much temptation….

Pam, I noticed the Heat Wave comparisons too. When the book was released didn't they say some things that happened in the book would happen on the show? Maybe not to the exact but the book would give us a glimpse as to what would happen during the season. Am I remembering that correctly? I know we've seen other little things happen and of course quotes used as well.

They really edited the promo but if you pause it in certain spots you can piece some of it together. It's Castle at the door when Kate opens it and pulls her gun. So we know Castle will be in her apartment at one point. I'm thinking he leaves and either feels uncomfortable leaving her or the killer tips him off that he has something planned for Kate. I think she's on the phone with the killer and when the killer sets the phone down and walks away. It's so no one can get a hold of Kate on her home line. You then see Castle running down the street, presumably to warn Kate when the apartment blows and he's across the street. My guess is that Kate knows something is up and gets out of the apartment. Jumps from a window? Gets to the first floor but the blast knocks her down? We know she can't be in the apartment because she wouldn't be surviving that blast but a fall would explain the wrist injuiry and flying debris would explain the cut on her head.

If we don't even get so much as a hug at one point during the 2 part episode, I think I'm going to cry.

I just use plain ol' Photoshop… use the text tool (hit T) and then you can change the color to whatever you want.
As far as the "big" part, it's just the font I picked… it was a bold font.

No prob posting the promo, guys… it's just another excuse for me to watch it over and over… hehe.  

I agree with everyone who said they are going to try to go sneak-peek free for these eps.  I love watching the sneak peeks, but doing so for this past episode left me slightly disappointed when the full ep aired.  Don't get me wrong, the ep was great, but I think I would have enjoyed it SOOOO much more had I not seen the sneak peeks.  So I figured I'd experiment.  We'll see how strong my willpower is.

My guess is that she takes cover in her bathtub.  Those old tubs would be the safest place to be (once she's covered sufficiently) during a blast.  At least that's how it worked out in Lethal Weapon 2.  : )

 

She hits her head on the tub (head injury), sprains her wrist in the landing in the tub.
