Thanks! I was wondering why they didn't do something like that either. I've been dying to make something new, so I was really excited when these came out and I couldn't pass up the opportunity ;)

Oh man, that would have been so fun! I love the pics, but they are a little bit "safe," for lack of a better term. We should just photoshop our own pics and send them back to ABC and say, "this is what we want!" Of course, I'm sure there's some kind of legal boundary we'd be overstepping (isn't there always?) so maybe not, lol. But I like that idea of yours, Aicha ;) . Bones did that this year for season 5, with the two of them all decked out in 50's getup (there's an exact term for what I'm describing, but I can't think of it) and Brennan (the woman) was perched on his desk all sexy-like. It would never happen in the show, but still it was great promotion. Maybe one day they can do that with Castle

Thanks! And you're right, Brennan and Booth are a lot closer to that kind of thing than Castle and Beckett, since they've been around each other for so long and are more comfortable with each other. But the outfit was completely non-Bones, and way fun because it was a bit imaginary. Have you seen it?

I agree about Stana. My mother and I were looking at the pictures and agreed that she looked a whole lot younger than Season 1, and very stunning. I can't decide what it is that makes her look so fantastic, though I think it might be the hair. I wasn't a big fan of the style before, but now I'm really diggin' it. And I know I'm completely late on this, but I JUST noticed that the cover for Heat Wave is Beckett's/Stana's silhouette. When I first saw it I was a little shocked to see it wasn't her because the hair was so different, but now that I've really studied those pics it hit me. *facepalm* I know–duh! LOL

I haven't seen it. (Bones promo pics.) To be honest, I'll still watch but HH really killed my enthusiasm for this show with his comment that “only true fans” liked the last finale. I've been watching since day 1. I have all the seasons on DVD but I did NOT like the whole dream thing. It was a mean trick and it wasn't very clever IMO. They were getting lazy and it shows. But from his words I guess I'm not a real fan.

As for Stana looking younger, I think they are easing up on the eye makeup. What's really amazing to me is just how many looks she's capable of… just look at the pilot and then at the later episodes of S1 and the new pictures. I mean  I know it's her but she just looks so different. She can really be a chameleon in more ways than one.

I'm still not convinced that it is Stana on the cover, but you could be right.

I don't think it's Stana on the cover, simply because she's not really shaped like that (is anyone, the picture looks really… unnatural), and in that 5 questions interview she said that the woman on the cover had a 'bodacious bod'. I'm sure she knows she's gorgeous, but I doubt she'd ever describe herself as bodacious because it implies some serious curves, and would just sound a little conceited. I don't thinkshe's conceited

I agree. I just looked at the hi res version of the book an it just looks badly illustrated or enhanced.

I guess this could be one of those questions you could ask Stana.

I haven't seen the previews for the new Bones season. However, I do plan to watch.
