With all this talk, I find myself wishing that the Season 2 DVD set would come out sooner ie. during the summer. If DVDs could become dog-eared, it would a perfect description as to how my Season 1 set is becoming, and I don't think it's enough to keep me from going stir-crazy before the end of September finally rolls around.

LOL yep mine too thumper, I'm sure I'm going to wear them out and don't 10 episodes go so fast?
Dad asked me something about Castle last night and I told him it was a 24 episode season, he was astounded it was so long. I hope we get 24 episodes in S3 as well (and S4 and S5 and…)

I'll go straight for the blooper reel as many others will, and then the deleted scenes. Then probably watch Sucker Punch, A Rose for Ever After, and Boom, a few of my favorite eps from season 2. Then the commentaries.

I'm not sure if someone has already said this but I would like to hear more commentaries from Stana this time around. Although she two episodes in the Season 1 set, she barely spoke in comparison to everyone else

Come to think of it, Stana did not participate in the "Ask Castle" Q&A series at all. In fact, everyone was there but her… Am I missing something?

I was sad about that too. We need more Stana! But that might have had something to do with the fact that she's in Paris? I have no idea when those clips were filmed, so that might be the reason.

I was sad about that too. We need more Stana! But that might have had something to do with the fact that she's in Paris? I have no idea when those clips were filmed, so that might be the reason.
At first I thought I could determine when filming was done for each set by the stage clothing the actors were still wearing, but unfortunately it appears that only Nathan and Molly were the only ones who were still dressed for work when they did their set, and everyone else was in their civvies.

since the three authors are in there, I guess it's taped during filming of the last episode… and Stana must have been super busy at the time, with the regular tight schedule AND preparing for the role in the new movie. She probably didn't go to France unprepared, but read and rehearsed at the same time as shooting the last episodes. Even though she's like superwoman, she only has 24 hours a day like the rest of us… It's great that we get Q&A with all the others, they are so good at letting everybody shine - not just the leading stars. And we'll just have to settle for just a movie with Stana instead…

At least I'm not the only one hoggging space on their DVR. I'll check out the extras then just pick some of my favorites to watch. I love "The Third man". I'll probablly do a marathon just before the season starts.

I hope most of the DVD extras wasn't made during the "Ask Castle" shootings because they didn’t involve Stana, and if there's no Stana on DVDs that would not make me a very happy Castle fan.
