To those of you that have sent me PMs over the past couple of weeks. there's a bug in my system and i can't read them, I'm not ignoring you but don't have time to try and figure out what the problem is and fix it till I get home next week.

Too funny.  I forgot about PM meaning private message and thought, "Oh – so people are writing about problems with PMS now – that's good to know (thinking it was the female thing)".ROFL

top right, there's a little envelope, if you have any PMs the box next to it will turn red with a number indicating how many PMs you have.

Now: any tips on getting chat to work?  I just get a big blank dark grey window & my "waiting" wheel spins…

hmm… do you have the latest version of java installed? Are you running a firewall?
