I know that one of the books she's read and recommended is Water For Elephants.  It is an awesome book.  Another one she recommended is Middlesex…another terrific read.  Being an avid reader myself, I had already read those books when she recommended them.  I know I've seen several others she's received as gifts or recommended after she's read them, but can't come up with them off the top of my head.

I'm always so impressed with the readers of this website.  Castle has sooooooooooooooo many fans outside the United States and most all of you have at least some reasonable knowledge of English.  I think the world would be far better off if more folks read/spoke at least a couple/three languages.  So, I applaud you guys.  I'm an "oldster" and had 4 years of Spanish and a year of French, but I'd be hard pressed to read a book in either language now or be able to speak either well enough to either be understood or comprehend it.  You "youngsters" who are fluent in your own language PLUS English are simply amazing to me.  Good for all of you!!

LOL

Thank you for this "youngsters", I'm not that young, but English is everywhere this days(even my boss is from Scotland) and you just have to except it that way,and if you want to be in any kind of contact with the world you have to use it,if I would write here in Croatian i think than no either one of you would understand me,but this way half of the world does, that's fascinating, plus I like English!

I've read book of 1015 pages on English just because Gillian Anderson is on front page,I find that as a good practice,I didn't understand every single word in that book but I get it in context

I'd understand you! Have you seen the movie? It's amazing! Delfi bookstore (delfi.rs) has Water in Elephants in latin and not cyrillic. and they do ship outside of serbia (I tried looking for Croatian based bookstores but I couldn't find any. Sorry! ): )
