Since the foreign press selects the nominees and votes for the winners, it makes sense that Stana would get a nomination, given the huge Euro-fan base. I give 'er a lil' *hoo-rah!* and best wishes, just 'cuz any opportunity to celebrate a superb artist's performance should not be missed.

That would be great! I also like some of the other potential nominee wild cards and I like that they reach out of the usual 'pot' to look at actors who deserve some recognition.

I'm really hoping she would. It will be awesome. Its about time that they recognized Stana's brilliant performance.

A Golden Globe would be great. I doubt Castle is ever going to have a serious shot at the Emmys, but let's hope for something nice from the foreign press

Guess, the foreign press should have read the article (and should have been forced to watch Kill Shot at least 100 times)… Man, so disappointing, yet not really surprising- no nomination for Stana…

It's not just the skill of the actress but the series that allows that to be shown. Stana is as good as anyone on that list but in most episodes there are few chances to show it. The shows starring Julianna Marguiles and Claire Danes give them a chance to excel every episode and not just when AM decides he want to do a serious episode. I do think Madeleine Stowe's nomination is kind of odd as her role is not that big and performance not really spectacular beyond the fact she has not aged a day since Last of the Mohicans 20 years ago.
I hope Claire Danes gets the award, I never would have guessed from her earlier work what a phenomenal actress she is.

This year's awards are based on last year's episodes, right? Maybe with the speculation about her getting nominated and the articles about it not happening combined with more great performances in the rest of Season 4 (like Kill Shot) Stana can secure a nomination next year.

I was so glad to see that article. FINALLY, someone said what so many of us have been thinking. If Stana does NOT win an Emmy or some kind of an award for playing Beckett before the show goes off the air, it will be a major oversight. But I can see her winning something further down the line in her career. She has serious acting chops.
Then again, Phylicia Rashad never won an Emmy for The Cosby Show.

Who says the rich and famous are different from the rest of us? SK's going to a Tupperware party – only for jewelry! Let's hope some photographer is at the event and that there are pictures posted of the ladies entering/leaving. I always enjoy seeing SK's fashion picks. Except for the shoes, the dresses/outfits she wears are so unlike Beckett that they break me up.
