Just making sure this person meant astonished or amazed, and not startled or shocked. Stunning and stunned are two words that don't commonly mean the same thing, especially in this context.

I purposefully posted this topic about Det. Beckett and not Stana because that's who they were talking about in the interview. Plus, starting a topic about how an actor looks is just stupid when you're really discussing the attributes of the character. I lose my patience with people who cannot separate actors from the characters they play. However, after stating all of this, I will not deny that I am a Stana megafan.

You can't tell the difference between the actor and the character? Wouldn't you have to know the actor in the first place? This is exactly my point.

The people who can't separate the actors from the characters have issues. Really, is anyone defined by their job? No. Why would an actor be any different. I can't imagine seeing (I'll use the example of one of my faves) Anthony Hopkins on the street and saying "Ohmigod, it's Hannibal Lecter!" Honestly, my IQ is–believe it or not–above single digits so I wouldn't dream of doing such foolishness. I don't understand why it is that other people sometimes do when it seems like common sense for the rest of the population that an actor is just pretending.
