Hey fellow Stanatics!
Hope all of you are doing fine & will help me out with this one! 
I've been drawing almost all my life, but for last 7-8 years I haven't done any portraits, maybe b'cause my job requirements were very different sorts or maybe I didn't have enough inspiration. But then couple months back, I saw Det. Kate Beckett on my TV & by the time that episode ended, I had this feeling that this gal is something special.
So, after watching 3 Castle seasons twice, watching her in various interviews n videos, I'm truly captivated by this shy yet bold, subtle yet explosive, heartbreaking yet inspiring, unbelievably beautiful personality. & I feel like drawing again, she's given me my inspiration back & I definitely wanna do a portrait of Ms Stana Katic!
So I request my fellow Stanatics to please suggest me some inspiring reference photos! You can check few of my previous works at below link & suggest accordingly!

Wow! You are really great at drawing!
You better get Stana to sit for you personally.
Whatever picture you decide to use as an inspiration for your drawing, I'm sure it will turn out well.

Please keep us all updated… if you get any portraits done, send them in for Fan of the Week… I'd think you'd have a great chance of getting featured and I'm sure Stana would love to see it as well.

[Image Can Not Be Found] You had me looking at Stana pics for sure! [Image Can Not Be Found] That's the problem! There are so many good ones! I couldn't finalize one myself, that's why I requested help by fellow Stanatics, so that I can at least narrow it down to some special ones! [Image Can Not Be Found]
Also, I was just going through thousands of HD screencaps I made while watching Castle & boy! There are at least 10-15 good ones, per episode! [Image Can Not Be Found]

So, are you looking to draw Stana or Kate Beckett? I don't even know how I'd narrow down great screen caps. But off the top of my head, these are favorites: Beckett in the final scene of Deadly Game, Beckett during the "one writer girl" conversation at the end of Dead Pool, Beckett at the end of Final Nail in last scene with Castle, Beckett in the "Why do you keep coming back Rick?" conversation in Knockdown, Beckett in the Countdown 'diffuse the bomb' scene and in the following scene back at the precinct when Castle says he knows how lucky he was, Beckett in the Live and Die in LA letter-reading scene at the end, and Beckett in the Temptation Lane confession scene at the end of OLTL. Sorry I don't know how to post the actual screen caps for those scenes.

Is Stana & Kate two different things? She is still Stana! & some of Kate caps are perfect for portraits, like this one: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tum…..o1_500.png
The ones you mention certainly has some good ones, but I'm looking for something which could easily go down as a standalone photoshoot pic & also is perfect for a portrait, like the one above!
And don't worry abt posting links, I have most of 'em on my HDD.

I think that in a lot of Stana's professional photos, she doesn't look much like Kate Beckett at all, so for me there is often a distinction. Great screen cap in the link above. I scrolled through screen caps for the scenes I mentioned above, and there are similar appealing shots and expressions with Kate happy or intense (that could look like a standalone photoshoot pic)…but I am not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, so I'm not sure what qualities you look for in a picture that makes a good model for a drawing. Looking forward to seeing what you choose.

Your drawing 'Sitting Pretty' reminded me a lot of the old splash picture for Stana's website, you can still see it on http://www.stanakatic.com/news upper right.
