The lights and the camera angle was definitely against her (and the other stars). She looks quite tired or strained on these pictures and as jrabbit said, somehow "made", this was not quite her style. (Though she obviously enjoys to do always something different, to be adventureous on her appearance. On these smaller red carpet events – I mean not an Emmy or SAG etc. – she wore the widest array of dresses and styles one can imagine from very casual to the most excentric.)

Stana works with a wardrobe stylist for these various press events (as most actors do in the business due to their busy schedules). The stylist (and their assistant/s) pull racks of clothing and various accessory choices for the client to choose from during their fitting – for every event they have coming up.

She looks gorgeous but her shyness makes her look so cute! hehe

I just watch the "signing" video (above) and she looked great there. So I'm blaming the lighting inside for the "somethings not quite right" photos.

I love how she is with the fans, even personalizing the autographs.

I gather this must be an "in" look right now.  I just got a White House/Black Market catalog in the mail today and almost every model in there had wavy long hair, very light makeup and bright red lips.  For something different and old school glamour, I kind of like it…and Stana makes every look stunning.

Whether it is "in" or not, I have to agree with Nev827.  The bright red lipstick look doesn't do anything for me either.
