Just read it. Lucky Stiff sounds like FU-NNNNN! and I'm even more intrigued about the two-parter now.

OfflineStana Katic:
"I think Nathan believes in the not-rushing-into-anything concept. And I do as well. I believe that they really have a great working relationship, and there are still elements of the story that need to be revealed. I think for Kate it’s really important that she knows what happened to Castle’s other marriages. That’s still unclear. She’s always kind of been known to be the one with a 'type,' and I don’t think she’d jump into something with a person she feels couldn’t be committed to a relationship. There are a couple of obstacles standing in their way, but I think they should be together, man. I think that romance and life can be there even when people are a couple."
I love how she says "Castle's other marriages" like she is sure there will be another one! I sure hope so.
There is so much to admire in the way she handles interviews. Thanks for the link.

OfflineThanks Jamz. Great interview!
Ha! A Book Nerd! Yesssss…
I like it when she talks about her co-workers, how they have become her new way of life. It makes you realize the hard work and effort they put into each episode, the hours must be gruelling ( I do understand how you could gush over your favorite burger after a particularly tiring day!). Well, all your efforts are paying off Stana and the crew, Castle keeps on getting better and better.

OfflineI like her answer to the question about ever doing anything wild
In the trailer for For Lovers Only, you take a spin on a motorcycle, and you've said before that you're a bit of a daredevil. What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done?
"I’d get in trouble with my producers if I told you. [Laughs] I’m sure they’d be coming down knocking on my door and saying, 'You’re not allowed to do that. Not on our clock.' So why don’t we just leave it at that?"

The other thing I like about this answer to the question is that in contast to many interviews in which Nathan and Stana are shown to be on different sides of the argument about a romantic relationship for Castle and Beckett, Stana tries to bring the 2 sides together here.
She stands on her position that there is romance and life in relationships, but she acknowledges the value in the path of not rushing things either. She really gives lovely interviews.

OfflineThat was a great interview. i'm glad that she and Nathan agree on the pacing of the Castle-Beckett relationship, but not on whether or not they should get together. How very diplomatic of her.
And regarding Stana being a daredevil, I remember reading back in the summer I think about how she went bunjee jumping or something and was afraid that if the producers had found out, she'd be in a serious trouble. I think she also said Marlowe did find out and prohibited her from doing it again! No wonder she's biting her tongue.

OfflineNev, it was in the TV Guide (Born To Be Wild) article last year. She mentioned taking up riding motorcycles and that she did some cliff jumping. She said she understood Andrew Marlowe's concern about her risk taking but I don't think he's forbidden she do anything.
Still, I can understand her wanting to be vague.

OfflineYes, it was great how she took away the edge of what NF usually says and sticking to her opinion at the same time as well. It was also very good to see that she is talking about obstacles between them, and not outside ones. (I admit, it is a question of interpretation, maybe I'm too positive.) The former is natural, it is obvious that there is a long road ahead until their relationship can reach – maybe – a marriage. (I'm not sure it will happen and I don't think it necessary, but have no hard feelings against it either – will be the question of good storytelling.)

I'm wondering if, and I know this sounds odd, but insurance issues came up and folks encouraged Stans to bite her tongue a little more often. In the pilot episode of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (I know, it's a TV show, not real life), Matthew Perry's character was thrown off a film when he abused cocaine and the insurance company which was insuring the film yanked its coverage because his involvement was too much of a risk. Maybe they're trying to make sure the insurance companies invested in Castle, don't get nervous!

I also heard that when actors do movies or tv shows the studios have insurance on them and if thats so, obviously they are invested in the talent' saftey and if they got hurt either on set or off the studio or whatever can be held responsible or whatever. Also, it would not be good for the show at all if anything happened to its actors so I guess they encourage them to keep their risk taking to a minimum.
