On May 30th, 2011, at the Zlin Festival, Ms. Stana Katic graciously accepted to sit down with us and answer some questions. Here is the result. Thank you again to Ms. Benson, Ms. Radova and Ms. Katic for making this interview possible.

I love that part :
"This is rest for me. When I get to do creative story-telling, that's rest for me. That's my passion, I'm energized from it. It's better to me than going on some beach in the Caribbean and doing nothing. That, to me, is terrorizing. But when I go to Paris or when I go to Istanbul or Morocco, or wherever on the planet, even if it's just Baton Rouge in Louisiana and I'm telling an incredible story and I'm working opposite amazing actors, that can feed me for a year. That's life, energy for me."
She's amazing, she's so dedicated to her job, she just loves it so much. And she's so down-to-earth. There's nothing I don't like about her. Great actress, and great person.

Great interview, thanks so much. Conformation that Montgomery was a father figure to Beckett. And that Castle is the man she ostensibly is in love with. I hope they reach for the hight plain too. And yes love her thoughts on her craft.

Thank you very much for this nice interview. I'm so glad we got a confirmation about Becketts true feelings, (of course we all knew that since ever[Image Can Not Be Found]) hopefully we'll get it on screen next season after Castle confessed it this season.

What a fabulous interview AkaBlackNight! Is there anything you don't do well? Amazing videos and now a great interview. The questions were thoughtful and interesting, and it was so enjoyable to read Stana's responses to them. Her passion for her work is so admirable, and I especially appreciated her thoughts on that scene in the finale as well. Thanks so much for sharing this!

Well done. That was a good read. A great interview is apparent when the interview questions are few, but draw out great responses. I was particularly interested in her comment about not caring about the procedural. She cares about characters because that is wherein the great acting is. I hope she gets more great writing and ABC keeps her on the show with a BIG FAT raise the next time a contract is due.
