I'm wondering if, and I know this sounds odd, but insurance issues came up and folks encouraged Stans to bite her tongue a little more often. In the pilot episode of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (I know, it's a TV show, not real life), Matthew Perry's character was thrown off a film when he abused cocaine and the insurance company which was insuring the film yanked its coverage because his involvement was too much of a risk. Maybe they're trying to make sure the insurance companies invested in Castle, don't get nervous!
I also heard that when actors do movies or tv shows the studios have insurance on them and if thats so, obviously they are invested in the talent' saftey and if they got hurt either on set or off the studio or whatever can be held responsible or whatever. Also, it would not be good for the show at all if anything happened to its actors so I guess they encourage them to keep their risk taking to a minimum.
I'm always worried about what would happen to Castle if something serious happened to Nathan or Stana. I remember how John Ritter's death ruined Ten Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter and hope that she and Nathan and the whole cast, for that matter, always keep themselves safe.

Stana is currently on the front cover of the Canadian magazine Chatelaine. Do any of you happen to have a copy? I saw some scans on Tumblr, but I can't read the article included. I'd love to read the whole interview. Pretty please? I'd be very grateful.

Alas, the interview is a piece of junk. Chatelaine used to be a fine Canadian magazine, strong on political and women's issues, and now it is just one of those magazines with recipes on the left hand side of the page, and weight loss tips on the right (you know a magazine is in trouble when it uses "perk up your ____" everywhere). Stana is not on the cover. The cover is graced with a picture of a macaroni and cheese dinner: charismatic and succulent in its own way, but frankly, it's no Stana Katic.
The article is two half pages, with a couple of actually not very exciting pictures. They make reference to her trip to the Gobi desert last year "She loved the solitude", looking at the world through Canadian eyes (supports health care), and briefly refers to her work on the Alternative Transportation project.
I quote the only paragaph that might have any remote interest:
"When it comes to the politics of her love life though, the spicier topics are off limits. 'I love to kiss, but I don't tell,' she says laughing. 'Romance is difficult for some celebrities. If the media finds out you're dating Robert Pattinson, you're screwed." But she does admit that she's very committed to deep and substantive relationships "I like the concept that if you're with someone, it's for the long term." Is she dating co-star Nathan Fillion? She won't tell — though the Internet is awash with buzz about it. For now she opts to keep us and her three million viewers, guessing."
Jeez. Tell us something we don't know.

Nice interivew. Knowing Stana and Nathan are fun, smart, nice people makes being a fan of the show that much more fun.
