Stana clearly uses her break time from "Castle" to do independent stuff and more arthouse movies. I like it, it means she is getting paid enough money on "Castle" to have the freedom to stretch her acting abilities in those movies.

A film about Jack Kerouac sounds interesting, I've read some things about him when I looked into the work of the photographer Robert Frank (btw, awesome stuff he did – take a look at his book "The Americans" – Kerouac wrote the introduction for the book). They also worked together on the first film by Frank "Pull My Daisy", one of the most important films of the Beat Generation.

So I'm really looking forward to this.

I love Radha Mitchell since "High Art" by Lisa Cholodenko, Henry Thomas and Balthazar Getty are also great. Can't wait for more informations.

I think I have to go and watch some of the work by the Polish brothers, they sure seem to be interesting film makers.

Thanks for sharing that spinja.  I can see why Stana would be interested in playing this part.  Ms. Kandel was clearly passionate about her art, as is Stana.
