That makes total sense.  From what I understand, the Polish brother's movie needed her for about 3 weeks or so, and the June 6th date is about 4 weeks after she left to make the movie. 

I sure hope that lady takes SOME vacation time at some point.  I'm sure they'll start filming Castle again sometime in July.  She is certainly not letting the grass grow under her feet.

And I'm so excited that Wendie Malick is in it, she's great too.  She's worked with Dan Lauria before, I saw them in a play called "Questa" in a tiny little theater.

Wow!  So the Polish Brothers shoot is only 3 weeks long?  Imagine that. 

Stana was in The Spirit with Dan Lauria, so it's not surprising that they're working together on this.  I think on one of the commentaries or in one of the interviews she did about Castle, she mentioned how she'd like to work with him again. 

It's also interesting that in one interview I read of Stana's before she got the part of Beckett, she talked about how she found historical figures like Joan of Arc and Cleopatra fascinating and now she gets to portray them both.  I'll bet when the offer of both opportunities crossed her eyes, she jumped at them.

Mid July they start filming again.  Hope that she takes a proper vacation!

wow. she's very driven to work isn't she? is it because she's starting to get good parts that she can't say no to, or is it because the tight production schedule for castle prevents her from doing anything else, so she has to compress everything into her break time?

 

i'm also very jealous of those of you who are in the LA area who have the opportunity to watch her act… and for those of you who are NOT taking advantage of this event…. are you crazy!?!

Thanks for the info. I want to go but tickets will probably be sold out before I know for sure if I can or not.

Very cool she'll work with Dan Lauria again.

I'm glad she's working but I sure hope she takes some vacation time too.

All of you who are going, have fun! Stana is definitely the perfect choice to voice both Cleopatra and Joan of Arc! I'm so happy for her! Go Stana!Smile

If they start filming season three about Mid-July, that still gives Stana at least a month between this play and then. Hopefully, she will take a real vacation during that time.
