Take a closer look. There are two arrows in the photo. One just behind the guy's head and the second one still on the bow.

the arrow is blue and through his head… and she already has another arrow lined up ready to fire.

They could be on the back lot playing around…

According to IMDB Trivia about Stana:
Enjoys Soccer, Yoga, Karate, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Horseback Riding, Swimming.
Favorite hobbies include archeology, archery, astrophysics, flamenco dancing, and designing clothes.
Much like her character Kate Beckett, Stana is an avid reader. She also has a strong interest in environmental issues, archery and music.

They've already used Stana's skills speaking Russian, perhaps they also take advantage of the archery. Then I just want to know – when do we get to the flamenco dancing??? Shock

I look forward to episode 14, to see if it's Stana or Beckett that handles snakes and spiders.

ok, that settles it: Stana is more BAMF than Beckett. The pictures are not for the role, but just Stana using the opportunity to play with snakes and spiders.
