Hello fellow Castle fans!
I am kind of new to these boards, and I know that a topic about Stana's fashion has already been posted, but I have a different question that does not really apply to that board.
Stana always looks awesome in her interviews, and I was just wondering if anyone happens to know who designed or where to get the dress that she wore on Jimmy Kimmel or on the "Out of the Box" interview with Nathan? Those have to be my favorites out of all of the interviews she has done, but I absolutely adore all of her clothes. Thanks everyone!

She does design her own clothes! Whether those specific ones are her own, I couldn't tell you (I am sure a stanatic could help with that answer)!?
Although I am not a big fan of bright colours they do seem to suit her.
I personally would like to own every one of Beckett's jackets!!

Me too! And check out the fashion site, fashion.castletv.net. They are seriously on top of whatever she's wearing and where it, or something comparable but more affordable, can be purchased.
She designs her own clothes too? Wow, she sings, acts, dances, designs clothes…she truly is an artist. Is there anything she can't do?

Designs her own clothes, or styles her own outfits? Because there's a huge difference… On top of everything she does from acting (Castle, guest appearances, films, etc.), doing interviews, to her own personal activities like archery, travelling, and whatnot, I don't think she has time to actually design and make her own clothes.
I'm sorry but Project Runway makes you truly aware of how much effort, not just creativity, goes into creating fashion. Styling ready-to-wear garments is one thing, but creating (from sketching a design, picking fabrics, to sewing) them and turning them into a whole outfit, complete with accessories is a whole other ball game.
I like Stana as much as you all do. I think it takes a lot of creativity to bring out that much emotion, pour it into a character, and completely transform into another person, which she does so effortlessly. However, I just don't think she creates her own clothes. She styles herself, yes, very elegantly so. I just don't think she has time to actually create one from scratch. Besides, in all the interviews I've read so far about her hobbies (articles that are shared here on this board), I don't remember her ever mentioning designing clothes.
It's just my opinion, though.

Yes, somewhere she wrote that she dances Flamenco dancing as far as I remember. Sorry, no video evidence yet.

hrhighness – She has it mentioned on most of her sites, links below. I know exactly what you are saying though, and if she does like designing her own clothes I am sure that has not happened since Castle took off, most probably in her early years as it says on the last link. It could just be an exaggeration in the fact she just gives ideas.

aren't those fan run sites? even IMDB can be edited by just about anyone correct?
I know the only official ones are stanakatic.com, twitter.com/stana_katic, and the facebook she and her management maintain.

I think the FB fan page is also hers. Well one of them anyway. (this one). I remember I was even invited to become a fan of that page, by Stana herself… well it could have been her manangement team.
