I agree with other posters, though…it's completely the way she delivers lines and the facial expressions that come with them!

Love the lines that people are listing! I have a couple more I want to add.

"Romantically involved?" [Castle 2x14] – Love the way Stana delivers that line!

"I don't." [Castle 2x14] – After Nathan mentions how he forgets he's not a cop. For some reason, I really like it. Come to think of it, I love that whole scene!

"What about a big, hairy spider on your shoulder?" [Castle 2x14]

The last thing I'll say (didn't want to elongate the above post much more) is that one of the best things I'll take away from watching Castle has been discovering Stana's awesome talent. It's remarkable that she hasn't gotten her own show before this. She's is so good at conveying so much in one small line or just with a look. And she's attractive, intelligent, can sing, dance (I can only assume from the charity gala scene in Home is Where the Heart Stops), can do any accent under the sun, do comedy as well as drama, and probably knows 5 ways to kill someone. What more could a film director want? Putting her in a TV show with Nathan, who is equally as talented, was a stroke of genius.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I know Nathan gets most of the credit and attention but the best part for me is discovering Stana.

The same here. Or I should rather say re-discovering, since I remembered Wireless Girl from "Heroes" very well (I still think that season 1 characters were the most interesting ones and NBC was totally stupid to get rid of them), but didn't remember Stana's name. But "Castle" definitely allowed me to fully discover Stana's great talent and decide that she's my absolutely favourite actress :)

Well said Marbs. I've read a few accounts that describe her as naturally shy (or where she describes herself as shy) and it seems that Nathan by being so witty and outgoing brings out that side of her personality.

My favorite interviews with her and Nathan were the one they both did for AOL (http://television.aol.com/outs…..katic/auto), and one where Nathan compliments Stana's skill at playing Beckett and she winks and gives thumbs up. Shiny!

Oh I love that Extra interview especially the raw footage. She's so shy that she covers her face when they were doing her make up. I love how simple she looked in that interview.

My favorite part of that interview is when she puts her hand on his lap. And it stayed there until the end of the interview.

Well, I have always said, naysayers are just there to create controversy and have nothing better to do with their time. hehehe. You cannot fake that chemsitry they have on screen as well as off creen. To me, Stana is so transparent and she's so un-Hollywood like. She thinks before she speaks and when she speaks, you just have to look at her eyes and see the sincerity in them. Same with Nathan. Nathan seems more used to the press and all than her. She's quiter but I do love that they keep an eye contact when one is talking.

I have alway said this to. No actor, especially on television, would put up working with someone for 14-17 hours a day for five days if they cannot stand them even if the money is good. That creates tension on the set and it affects everyone. It's what happened to "Moonlighting" and the stars never hid the fact that they didn't like each other.

I can tell that she seems to be naturally introverted, but she really does a good job of overcoming that and coming across as very natural and sincere and true to who she is. It's nice to hear Kitten, that she was so great to talk to. I'd be intimidated by someone as talented and attractive as she is, but it's good know that she was so down-to-earth and seemed genuinely appreciative of the fans. That's one reason I've always liked Nathan (and his Firefly castmates for that matter)- they all gave so much back to their fans and don't take the fan support for granted.

And Nathan and Stana really do look like they've become buddies. Just watch their body language in their interviews and they come across as totally relaxed and comfortable with each other. On a separate but related subject, Nathan and Jon Huertas each tweet quite a bit about having beers after a long day of shooting, which comes across on the screen.

Stana is very girlie and it's fun to see and watch her just giggle.

For me, once I saw her put her hand on his thigh, that's a very telling point that she is comfortable with Nathan. Also in another interview where he hears her shoes and then says "Speak of the devil…" She puts both her arms around him and then he kisses her on the cheek. I saw a short clip too where there was Nathan, Susan Sullivan, Molly Quinn were there and then he was behind the counter, she reaches over to him, has one arm around him and then it looks like he kisses her on the cheek again.

That's why I wish they were also a real life couple. hehehe.

But I am happy that they are good friends off screen and the whole cast gets along well.

I agree Kitten. That's one of my favorites too. I love the funny graphics they put in to show what Nathan is thinking. I got screencaps of some of them too. And you're right, my favorite part is when she walks in, gives him bunny ears, then puts her arms around him and lets him kiss her. The "What?!" and "She totally plays" comments are great, but I also like it when Nathan keeps interrupting her and he finally says "He interrupts a lot," and without missing a beat Stana says "Incessantly." Fabulous!

We should make a thread with a collection of all the video interviews. It's ridiculous how many times I've watched them. She could read the phone book and make it interesting and funny. And like other have said, her laugh is infectious.
