Musiclover, I posted that quote on another forum, where it has been discussed a bit. I can't wait to find out whose line it is!
And Kalliope, you are so right! I've never bought an audiobook in my life before, but if Stana does the recording for one of the Nikki Heat books, I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

Not necessarily Nikki Heat, anything else would be great too 
Also, an audio play would be great idea, fingers crossed it's gonna happen some day.

I was excited when I first read this! But if you go to look up the status on FB or Twitter, it's not there anymore. According to a friend of mine,
which knowing the dudes involved in the game, they probably made her remove it. They're VERY hush hush.
Ah, I see. Which means Rockstead DID make her remove it. It's their Rule #1: "We tell you when you can say something."
So while it's sad we can't look it up for ourselves and we only have that screencap, this might actually be a good sign. If they want her to keep it under wraps, that means she really did do it!

Hey, that's not my decision, it's theirs. And if they want to surprise their fans, then they have a right to.
Least Stana wasn't the only one who leaked, and my friend says nothing horrible probably happened. Still, it's sad to hear that she had to delete information she wanted to share with her fans.

That sucks that they made remove it. She's a major TV star now with a devoted fan base, you'd think that letting her leak even a hint at her involvement in it would generate lots of interest and possibly boost sales when the game does out.

There are a lot of companies that take this approach and they have every right to, it's their creative work and if they want control over when the public is given certain details then there's nothing wrong with that, it's perfectly normal and acceptable practice in the industry.
I remember I blogged about an event where Alan Tudyk talked about some stuff he was doing once and the company behind the project found it and were very concerned and asked me (nicely) if I could please remove the quotes.

It's a shame they made her take it down but understandable if they're wanting to make an official announcement at some point. I'm more surprised that she (and whoever else is involved) wasn't told beforehand to keep it quiet.
It makes me want to read even more who else is involved.

Not necessarily. Stana did say in one of her recent interviews (one of the radio ones, I think) that with "Castle" being a success on ABC she receives more film offers, and I think the video games producers also decided that they want her to work with them. If you go to TNT website and watch the behind the scenes interviews with the cast and producers of "The Librarian 3", Dean Devlin has said that Stana is going to be a very big star. And it's only the beginning…

It could be a little of both. With the success of the show, and her previous film work, it wouldn't be hard for her now to get a few offers for big movie roles. And it couldn't hurt if Nathan just put in a word for her with some contacts he may have in the industry. But she'd obviously get the part based on her enormous talent, not just because of Nathan.
