Holly cow!!! Is there anything she can't do? I was NOT expecting that at all (and both my mother and daughter are singers, so I know when I hear a good voice. So with a voice like that why hasn't the Castle crew made more of her talent? Oh well… I guess if they ever do that dream sequence, she'll just HAVE to be a singer!!!

WOW just WOW. Thankyou so much for the link SKB. I could not catch what she said beforehand (only have my baby PC with me, the sound is not great). Did she say where it was from, I only picked up the 'my song?' part. Thanks.

She's amazing. I love the way she talks to people, and how she takes time to explain her way of acting. So natural and down-to-earth.
Thank you for the video too SKB. She has a great voice! I wouldn't mind a musical episode someday, where she could sing. [Image Can Not Be Found]

I only caught a few things but she said it was her song. Those that were there said she wrote it.
Evita, thanks for the other link to her talking about acting. She's so passionate and has such respect for it. Best of all is the way she interacts with the fans.

Thank you for that. And thankyou Evita for the interview, that is so fantastic. It would be great one day to see her in a "the actors studio" type session. Her passion for and devotion too the craft of acting is so good to see. And we definitely need to see her sing more, somewhere, somehow.

Thanks for those videos. The talk about acting is especially enlightening as it treats acting (rightly so) as a serious matter that requires a lot of training and dedication, not just a way for someone who happens to have a pretty face to make headlines.
I loved the little shrug at the end of the singing, very down to earth.

First of all, I wish everybody who loves her to have a chance soon to meet her in real life. And when I'm saying "meet" I wish more than a "Hi Stana" and a personal autograph beside a red carpet. She was kind a and patient with the fans even when she was rushed. She signed one more, and one more and one more photos at the premiere, but having a chance to see her talking, expressing her thoughts was something you have to hear, it is not the same through the computer. I'm sure there will be a tons of video soon on the net about the meeting because it was quite a long one and what has already been linked here is only the tip of the iceberg.
She got a lot of gifts, almost everybody brought her something (she would need another suitcase for them for the flight) and signed so many photos that I'm sure I wouldn't be able to hold a pen in my hand for weeks after that, talked with everyone.
The second screening was yesterday evening from 10 pm (it was much better for the second time, I could concentrate on parts what were not clear the first time). At the end she suddenly appeared in the movie (she sees the films in her judging section and the screenings starts at 8.30 am), thanked everybody who came to see it, who came to Zlin for seeing it and introduced and greeted those local organizers who made really a huge work to schedule her program. It is a losing battle because she is open to talk and everybody wants just a few more minutes, so those ladies were on the verge of total exhaustion after three days with the permament stress. It was obvious that they didn't expected their work would be appreciated in public. She was great and caring for those ones who are around her.

Thanks for the links SKB and Evita. It's such a joy to listen to her sing…what a beautiful song and a gorgeous voice. But her interview on acting was really something, and I can absolutely see the "little details" in her work, especially on Castle. The way she talked to the audience and incorporated the habits of one of the audience members into her discussion was both interesting and charming. Loved the funny story about talking with her hands in the first season of Castle and needing to hold gloves to keep herself in check. Oh, and she looked lovely in both those videos, which is not a surprise.

Jamz: Yes, both our "private session" and the official press conference were in the same hall, that's why the backround is the same. Unfortunately journalists are just journalists, prepared only as much as they think it necessary, so she got queations like "Do you think Castle is a special show?". (Her anser was "Yes", but I think the journalist didn't get that from her it was the verbal equivalent of "moron" [Image Can Not Be Found].) There were some interesting ones though, eg. when she talked about strong females, like Cleopatra. Unfortunately I can edit my video only on my computer at home, but I will try to upload the interesting parts when I'm home.
