Thanks for the link Jamz!  I always enjoy her interviews.  I like how she talks about Beckett: I believe a woman can be strong, intelligent, sexy and feminine. I
consciously pushed Beckett in that direction because I believe it is
important to show a woman in that light.  Those are the things that make me like the character so much.

Then I bought myself a police badge and practised pulling it out in front of the mirror roughly 48 times!

I'm thinking of a certain scene in the Nikki Heat episode where the team was staring at Natalie Rhodes in the break room while she was practicing the exact same thing in front of the board… [Image Can Not Be Found]
