Filming starts probably some time in May. It would be great if they brought back Corrine, the character played by Stana in Quantum of Solace.

that is good!

someone correct me if i'm wrong but i recall stana mentioning there was some discussion with her awhile back about being in this movie in some capacity, but MGM was going thru it's financial issues and there was no real news after that?

This is awesome!  Not only because I am hugely in love with Daniel Craig, but didn't Stana also say she would consider playing Corrine again if asked?  Or am I mixing that up with her saying she'd be glad to reprise her role on 24 as Colette if asked? I do remember her saying in an interview that she auditioned for the role of Strawberry Fields, but didn't get it and, in the end, was glad because she didn't want her character killed off.

forgot about this thread… i read online last week that they have starting casting/auditioning process for this movie. still wondering if stana will be a part of it.

There's been a couple rumors about actors being offered certain roles. Javier Bardem (he's confirmed they've discussed it) and Ralph Fiennes (not sure if he's confirmed or not).

I have not read a thing about who might play the Bond Girl though. I would hope Stana is being considered still.

I might actually be interested in a Bond movie again  XD  I didn't care for the "new" Bond – still hung up on Sean Connery being the best Bond ever, imo.  I'd be thrilled if Stana appeared in the next one; it'd give me a legitimate reason to watch it!

It'll be tough to squeeze something in during Castle's production schedule, but maybe if she gets a small part, they could shoot over the holidays while the show is on hiatus, or wait and shoot her part next summer?  If they really want her and she really wants to do it, they can make it happen.  I hope they work something out, but it's gonna be tough.
