She just seems genuinely nice and intelligent. Far too many actresses do interviews and just sound so uneducated. Stana is so well spoken and she seems well versed in quite a few subjects. Hollywood would be a better place with more like her.

I love how easily she can slip into a character and really portray each character differently from the one before it. I haven't come across two of her roles that I've noticed a similarity to each other. Her personality is fun and upbeat. Stana is always wearing a megawatt smile. And as another factor of why I love her so much, she is the oldest in a large family. Growing up in a larger family [than normal] gives a person a different aspect on life.

This is a somewhat easy question if you were/are already a Stana fan before Castle. WE LOVE HER. If I had to pick only one as requested - it's how she expresses in multiple ways without even saying a word – I won't list them, we know them – she gets even better in every performace.

I highly agree that all the characters she has played are NOT necessarily my cup of tea (sweet ice tea please), she puts everything she has into each of them.  I didn't know her name the first few times I saw her but definately remembered/learned her name in 24, then Heroes.. The other day I was at my mom's house and she was watching a rerun of the Closer and there is Stana (my mom thought somethin' was wrong..I forgot she was in it.. and gasped with glee he he) Then came several movies in a row and my "fan-ship" grew. I saw her in and kinda laughed through the whole Librarian movie – and remembered thinking she is really stunning and she even sings with a French accent too, really sings beautifully – what a bonus. I loved the last scene even though Simone is now pixie dust.. 

With Stiletto I thought of bruises and pain the whole time but learned a few new tricks with lipstick, tire irons and knives.  Spirit was unique but Stana won the best smiling award – looked like a lot of fun to her. Oh, and Quantum (own them all). My favorite so far is as "Beckett"- I can see Stana in her (as stated above from the interviews seen/read about her). Everyone is hung up about her hair though.. mine drives me crazy EVERY day - I can't image multple angled scenes etc to try to be the same, ugg – then for the world to say – cut it, grow it, soften it, color it, aaahhh enough!

While I firmly believe her "star" has taken flight and soaring now with Beckett, I like learning/hearing what other performaces she has already sitting in the wings. Of course, I'm a committed "Castleholic" and refuse treatment, I sincerely hope Beckett continues to grow in popularity and we have many seasons learning more about her next layer (peeling).  Personally, I think Stana is ready for even more advanced characters where she can show us even more.  Stana is a pleasant suprise from the world of TV/Movies and I look forward to her future performances..  Sorry this was an essay.. he he

Her versatility is what amazes me. Even if the movie isn't so good she's always knocking her performance out of the park. She expresses so much in a look that words are not always needed.

I'm just drawn to her. Even if she's not speaking and she's more in the background I'm watching to see how she reacts.

I love her interviews. She's not just there promoting her product but is really engaged in the discussion.

That smile and beauty is nice but it's the entire package that she displays.

i'm gonna echo most of the responses here…i like her because she makes a horrible movie worth watching haha. i basically fast forwarded all through out stiletto and watched only her parts, and she looked just STUNNING in those parts.

and her facial expressions are just..AWESOME. so awesome that i find myself imitating it. haha.

and she's the reason i'm obsessing over watching castle before castle, i haven't watched any of her appearances, but after watching castle i was instantly intrigued by her and started researching about her and watching every show she appeared in other than her on Castle, i really loved her ER, 24 & CSI Miami. She acts so naturally that she can make you feel the emotion that she's portraying.

She's really smart like she know a lot of stuff about diffrent things like old movies and is not dumb

I like the part in The Spirt when she says something about the girls Electra complex "Electra Complex it's like an edible complex except it's for girls she doesnt hate cops she just angry she lost her daddy electra complex plain and simple."

well, i'm new here and i thought it would certainly be appropriate for my very first post to be about the lovely stana. 

as an alias fan that was the first role i ever saw her in, and it was brief, to say the least.  it sort of became on those things where i would keep seeing the same person in all the shows i watched and started to take notice that this girl was versatile.  from there i've seen just about everything she's ever done and can say with certainty that she is so expressive.  i'm all about the subtle and stana is the queen of subtle but excellent expressions. 

i have this rule that if i'm watching something and i don't want to be that character…then the actress isn't doing a good enough job.  i think if you're a good enough actress you can draw your audience in and have themselves wishing they were your character no matter what the circumstances.  for me, stana just has that something about her that no matter what character she's playing i can't help but be drawn in.  that's a rare talent, in my opinion.

i also love how genuine she seems to be in interviews.  she's not some airhead who just spouts off the first thing that comes to her mind.  she has intelligent answers and yet still manages to bring a fun loving attitude with these smart answers.  she's also super funny.

First off welcome! and second don't worry about novel till you see my post haha! It was a novel or as the ppl in chat called it an "essay on all things Stana" haha tho I didnt mention alot of her roles mostly because it was late and I was tired haha you should check out the Stana quotes post…it's mine btw but by far my favorite post!

I think the reason she has intelligent answers is because she really is inteligent she clearly acts for the fun of it because she could make so much more money doing other things because of her inteligence. She speaks 7 languages fluently and that alone could make her more money than she probably makes in acting. Tho it is a true talent that she has, I really enjoy her tweets now that it seems that she has taken over doing them herself. She seems so "normal" I love it and would love the opportunity just to sit and talk to her one day….and possibly get my copy of Castle season 1, Heat wave, Spirit, Alias, Librarian 3, Quantum of Solace….(see a pattern here? haha) lets just say her hand would cramp after signing all the things I have involving her!

She is by far the best actress I have ever seen and could hope to see, if there is a word that could discribe her I can't find it and I'm a writter haha. Well I have babbled enough  needless to say…I love Stana!
