How could I have missed this board?!  I never pass up an opportunity to talk about how much of a Stanatic I have become!

Anyway, like so many of you, I came into Castle a fan of Nathan's from Firefly.  I also recognized him from his small part in Saving Private Ryan.  I hadn't seen Stana in anything prior to Castle, except Quantum of Solace and when I began watching Castle, I didn't even make the connection that that was her.  A friend of mine had the same reaction – he had seen The Spirit, but didn't realize that Stana had played Morgenstern.  We both had a "She was in that?" moment over the phone. 

I won't go into how I became a fan of the show, because I've covered that elsewhere.  Suffice it to say that after seeing my first episode (Vampire Weekend), I rented the first season of Castle and from the moment Stana came down a hallway in the pilot and kicked a door in to find a suspect I thought "Who is this woman? She is fabulous!"  Then her "You've no idea" sealed it – I've been a devoted Stanatic ever since. 

I looked her bio up on IMDb and was even more impressed by the fact that she's fluent in like 5 languages and can sing.  It also tickles me that we're the same age and almost the same height (I'm an inch taller, if we're both in flats)!  The more I watched the show, the more impressed with her talent I became – what versatility to be able to do comedy and drama and do it equally well.  And those facial expressions!    And this website has only served to increase my fandom – hearing stories of others meeting Stana, watching interviews, finding out when her other work will air, etc. 

To narrow it down, I love her intelligence, humility, devotion to her craft, sense of humor, ability to kick ass but also be as vulnerable as a little girl, and especially her laugh and smile.    

I've now seen her in The Librarian, 24, The Unit, and, thanks to youtube: Feast of Love, ER, Alias, JAG, and The Closer and cannot wait to see her future work.

Sure!!! then we can talk about Castle and Stana until wee of the morning.  By the way,  I already got a copy of Heatwave.  If anyone hasn't read it yet, I can lend it to you……

cool! where'd you get a copy? i want my own e, haha, i've been looking everywhere and been asking for it every now and then at bookstores.

but maybe for now, i'd do with a lend. haha =))

sorry, haha got so hyped up about finally meeting filipino castle fans here. meant to do the thread yesterday, but it was so latei decided to do it the next day. haha but i see there's one now..so yay! =))

that's really sweet of her. i also think its a big thing for any artist to say "Ive never had fans before…" and that tells a lot about her 

personality. i love that she is shy and friendly at the same time. it makes me love her even more reading posts from here.
