I think it might be a wig? Which isn't uncommon for a celebrity anyway. Most actresses have hair pieces because of all the primping that goes on for appearances. And plus I doubt she would have died it blonde, and then went right back to red for filming.

I think she wears a red wig for shooting.  Blond is her natural color and I think I read somewhere that she's not really into the red, though it fits Martha perfectly.

nice to hear from susan… i remember her way back on falcon crest watching it with my mom (but was too young to understand what was going on LOL). but never really knew anything about her.
