I think it's actually kind of hard to tell if they are outlined or solid in Boston Scientist's picture. Given the fonts and stuff, I'm pretty sure that's the mug, and that the dots only look solid because of the resolution and the light angle. And the partner mug is just too apt to ignore. Someone must have had fun picking that mug set out for the show.

(And Boston Scientist: The x actually came from when I tried to enhance that image a bit to see if the letters could be made clearer. Next time post the HD image ;))

Really? I think it's pretty clear that they are solid on Beckett's cup. But I do agree there are so many similarities besides the solid dots that it may still be the same mug – just a slight variation.

Going out on a shaky limb here about the mugs… Is it too much of a stretch that replica mugs were made because the others are out of stock? Wouldn't the prop department be able to pull something like that, if they got permission?
