WOW you girls are so tallented I love the avtars so cute.
I wonder if Nathan had a bit of a fanboy moment when they told him he was going to get to dress up as Mal for a short time? BWAH!!

Aw, Ashley!! It is better than mine. It's faster, cleaner, and smoother. I'll bet it's a combo of better video quality to start with and better program to work with. My ImageReadyI 3.0 must be just ancient! I had the same problem with the rating box, though mine didn't have the HD box on there… again, that's prolly why my vid is lower quality, lol. Great work! As far as Nathan's voice, I think the sound quality on that vid was just bad. It all sounded a little off to me.
Deb, you're too sweet. And I would LOVE to see some behind the scenes footage of that shoot, because I'm betting he did.

I just slapped it together, I think it's going a bit fast, but it was just a test 
Hm, I don't think it's the program, maybe the presets your using? Like lossy and websnap? Or the amount of colors? Not sure though. According to Wiki, IR 3.0 came out in 2000, so it is a little dated. Dunno, if it makes a difference. I was using IR 8.0 on Windows XP (which came out in '03 with PS CS2) up until a few months ago, and it seemed to work just fine.
You might be right about the video quality though, I was using video straight from the .AVI that I clipped down to an MOV. I didn't know IR could use MPEGs, but MOVs seem to retain quality pretty well.

My IR doesn't seem to have quite as many options as you have. I adjusted everything I could find to adjust in the optimized settings and that's the best I could do. Well yeah, the program's old, lol. Yep, it does fine with the .mpg's- I've never tried an .mov because my file converter doesn't do that… I don't think. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I've tried that. Maybe we'll give that a go next time and see what happens.

Beautiful avatars, everyone! I am having THE hardest time uploading an avatar for my own use…is there some kind of secret thing you're supposed to do? I think I actually pulled it off on another account I'd made, but as soon as I tried to update a signature it didn't work. Such a bummer, all of these lovely avatars and I can't use them!

What kind of trouble are you having? Mine upload fine… might have to do it twice sometimes. Are you deleting the current avatar before you upload?

I am, which has given me the boring generic avatar, lol. Then I upload the avatar, which apparently works, but as soon as I click the update button I get the Grey Spiraly Thingie of Doom. I've tried it on Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox, and still get the same thing. I thought it might have something to do that my account is relatively old and I need to make a new one, but that didn't work either. Rargh!

*sigh* it's a no-go. I PMed Admin about it early this month, but got no response. I have not the slightest idea what's going on. I'm tempted to make another account on another computer and see what happens, but I don't want to cause more problems with the forum's capacity.

Did I not respond to you? sorry about that, I do try and respond to everything but sometimes I miss things. It may be related to some issues we're having that I'm still trying to get fixed, ever since the forum upgrade things got a bit weird and the software creates are working on helping me fix it but it just takes a while getting messages back forth with them because we're both busy.
