My Castle avatars (come get yours or make a request!)

After creating some wallpapers and sharing them here, I felt like making some avatars as well. Here's what I've made so far:

I can also make animated avatars:

Unfortunately, that one can't used on this forum because I completely forgot about size restrictions and ended up making it too big. ^^'

You're free to use them, but I'd appreaciate it if you could credit me in your signature. Smile

If you have a character or scene in mind that you'd love to see as an avatar, just make a request!

Thanks everyone!

I made another animated avatar, but no matter how much I tried reducing the colors and optimizing it, the lowest I could get it (without making it look like mashed potatoes) was 240kB. If someone has any idea how to get it under the 100kB limit (with GIMP), I'll be eternally grateful. Here's the avatar anyway:

I don't know about Gimp, but in Photoshop I've first used like every 4th frame for the animation, then just still pictures where the movement is not important, then picked out even more frames here and there, and then gone "old style" in the coloring, like in this one. Still shows all the important details, but the thinning and reduced color scheme (was called sepia) makes it small enough. It's almost black and white, but not.
Your avatar is very long too. Sometimes you just have to be tough and cut it. Stop after "he can hear us". Or stop after "you want to make little Castle babies". Or make two avatars out of it.

And oh, now I must definitely see Trucker! I love scruffy. Love

I used every other frame, but I guess that's too much, especially since I picked such a long scene. Gotta try something shorter the next time.
