Richard Castle’s latest novel Heat Wave made it onto the New York Times Best Seller List the first week of its release.
Rankings reflect sales, for the week ending October 3, at many thousands of venues where a wide range of general interest books are sold nationwide. These include hundreds of independent book retailers (statistically weighted to represent all such outlets); national, regional and local chains; online and multimedia entertainment retailers; university, gift, supermarket, discount department stores and newsstands. — www.nytimes.com

There is also an Audio Version of the book due to be released October 12. Don t forget Castle: The Complete First Season

Everyone should bring this to the attention of ABC. I just wrote them and congratulated them on their TV show hitting the NY Times Best-Sellers list. How many TV shows do you think have managed that feat? Probably not many. ABC needs to know what an impact this show is having, even outside of the “sofa monkies.”

Love the show and just bought the book. I’ll buy season 1 once I can find a decent sale anywhere.

Ficton meets reality – “Heat Wave” is a stunning idea of marketing. I got the book right away. Very nice to read.
But the other books of “Derek Storm” looked thicker
I hope there will be some signed copies some time?
And may be there will be another book at the end of season two/beginning of season three?
Thanks for such a great show!
And please hurry releasing the DVD in Germany. I can’t wait to get my hands on it!!
